Kinderloop Ambassadors – meet Reem M. Alkaabi

Kinderloop started an Ambassadors program many years back, as a way to highlight amazing educators around the world. We are in awe of these passionate, inspiring people – we fondly call “Superloopers” – who dedicate their lives to the education and advancement of children around the world.

Reem M. Alkaabi is the most recent ambassador to join the Kinderloop family. Read on to learn more about the journey she’s taken in the early childhood education sector.

I am an Emirati advocate of Early Childhood Education and Wellbeing, with former experience of 5 years as a Lead Educator, Supervisor of Planning, and Professional Practice at the Australian International Nursery. I am currently dedicated to creating my own business in Early Childhood, pursuing my masters, and starting an exciting new role as the Head of Children’s Programming at the House of Wisdom. A project unveiled by His Highness Sheikh Dr. Sultan bin Muhammad Al Qasimi, Member of the Supreme Council and Ruler of Sharjah, to mark the celebration of the Emirate’s recognition as UNESCO World Book Capital 2019.

I’ve worked extensively in training, implementing, and actively engaging in the advancement and piloting of Kinderloop in the region. The simplicity of its design and continuous upgrade of features acted as key evidence for achieving the international JAWDA accreditation and Quality Improvement Program for Early Years at the Nursery.

“I’m very excited to be part of the Kinderloop Ambassadors. This is an absolutely beautiful field to work in and the most rewarding”.

The implementation of Kinderloop has enabled me to practice a pragmatic approach in practicing Early Years Learning Framework and created a beautiful networking community between the nursery, parents, educators, and above all the children; as they were able to be involved in their learning journey which facilitated child-led learning throughout the continuous planning cycle within the classrooms.

It was beautiful to see how Kinderloop acted as a platform for spreading awareness to parents. They were made more aware of what the child is learning, EYLF framework and we’ve witnessed increased parent involvement and awareness with each passing year.
